4 Steps To Gorgeous Looking Skin – Our Head Makeup Artist Gets Naked

History has been made here at the Vasanti offices, it is the first time we have seen our Head Makeup Artist Gargi without makeup! On an average day you couldn't pay her to leave the house with a naked face – today she is showing her love for our blog readers by baring it all. Gargi shows us step by step, in her own words, how to apply Liquid Cover Up (Liquid Foundation & Concealer in One) to get great coverage and a natural looking finish.

Step 1: I first dab Liquid Cover Up in V4 onto areas that need coverage. For me, that is the dark circles under my eyes and on my cheeks where I have some darker pigmentation and some acne scarring.

Step 2: Using our Professional Foundation Brush I smooth out the liquid foundation starting at my cheek and then move up towards my eyes. I tend to blend the Cover Up under my eyes last, as I find that by letting the product sit on my skin for a couple minutes before blending leads to better coverage (and I need more coverage under my eyes).

Step 3: I make sure I smooth the foundation around my mouth and chin for a blended, flawless looking finish. I like to blend down below the chin onto my neck to ensure I don't have a dermarkation line where the product ends.

Step 4: I finish by making another pass with our Foundation Brush ensuring the liquid foundation has completely blended into my skin tone. I use our Face Base Powder afterwards to set the foundation and give my skin a gorgeous glow.

She is wearing Face Base Powder Foundation in V4, one coat of black Long Lash Mascara, Everest Blush (fresh pink), and Belarus Ultra Luxe Lipstick (coral pink).
