Miri has worked in the beauty industry for over 18 years and is a long time Vasanti Girl.  She works in our digital marketing department now, but has held many roles for Vasanti in the 10 years we have known her. 

I chose to work in the beauty industry because…

I've always been fascinated with makeup, when I was in high school I found a book on theatrical makeup and spent hours in my room recreating the looks.  I love working in this industry for so many reasons but what keeps me coming back every day are the people –  people who work in beauty are passionate and creative and a lot of fun to be around.  I get a glimpse into the beauty world that very few people get to see, what goes into new product development, the challenges of standing out in a crowded marketplace and deciding how to best communicate the Vasanti message of "I Love My Colour" to our fans. 

My favourite Vasanti product is…

This is a tough one!  I guess if I had to choose my favourite products they would be Liquid Cover Up in V0 because of it's natural finish and great coverage and Belarus Lipstick (which I'm wearing in the picture above) because it really brightens up my face.  I'm also a tad obsessed with Monoi Magic right now, I use it on my face as a moisturizer and I've been using it as a weekly hair treatment to help with dryness and flyaways.  
 

I'm inspired by….

So many things – music, books, blogs, friends.  We get a lot of inspiration in the office from Vasanti Girls and our customers, nothing gets us motivated more than comments and pictures shared on our Facebook and Twitter pages.  We love to see how our products are being used and enjoyed.

Being home with my son, my husband and my dog.

A good book, HBO, lip balm
 

My favourite beauty tip is…

Curling your eyelashes is the quickest and easiest way to open up the eyes and make you look more awake.  It really makes a huge difference and I try to do it every day.
