I've been using the Vasanti Liquid Cover Up Foundation + Concealer in V6, and I honestly had to share how much I've been loving it!

As a West Indian woman, finding a foundation shade that truly matches my skin tone, especially one that's affordable can be so difficult. I first discovered Vasanti when I was about 17 years old and absolutely loved it. Over the years, I tried so many other brands and eventually stuck with a few of them. But recently, I decided to give Vasanti another try... and OMG, I'm so glad I did!

Once I apply my sunscreen, serums, and primer, this foundation just melts into my skin. It blends beautifully, looks incredibly natural, and gives me that smooth, poreless, flawless finish. It doesn't feel heavy or cakey at all, and I love that it doesn't dry out my skin. Instead, it leaves me with a healthy glow and just the right hint of dewiness & hydration.

One of my favourite things is how buildable it is. Whether I want light everyday coverage or need a little extra to cover dark circles or blemishes, it layers so well without looking thick.

If you've been struggling to find a foundation that matches deeper skin tones without breaking the bank, I definitely recommend giving Vasanti a try. It's been such a pleasant surprise to fall back in love with a brand that I've trusted for years, and I'm so happy I gave it another chance.

My go to concealer for my under eyes and to cover redness on my cheeks. I have very sensitive skin and it does not irritate at all. Goes on smooth and blends in easily. Great texture that is light but effective. Love that it is easy to apply and compact so you can just pop it in your purse!

This is THE concealer to use. I have severe hyperpigmentation from my acne scars (brown girl struggles smh), and finding a concealer that 1) doesn't clog my pores 2) doesn't break me out and 3) actually conceals!!! in this price range is a hard feat. Even the more high-end, $70+ stuff does not do all 3 of the formerly listed. It doesn't crease, it's more or less sweat proof, and it looks natural (especially as I use my concealer like a foundation for a truly immovable base). It should be noted that I don't have dark circles, so I don't know how it'd do under the eyes BUT I do have faint smile lines, and it holds up there.

A tube of this lasts me 4 to 5 months, which is an insane amount of time when you use this the way I do. I've gone through 6 bottles by now in the span of ~3 years (although I use much less now as my skin has gotten better). When you pair this up with a decent powder and sweat in it a little (or use a setting spray) it may as well be your natural skin cause it looks THAT natural + it lasts through 12 hours of commuting, school air, and downtown air.
